Nashville has easily become one of my favorite cities to visit. With so many things to do and see…and eat it is not a mystery as to why. If you are visiting Nashville anytime soon, here is a list of my personal top 10 favorite Nashville spots you must visit.
1.) The Pharmacy | Burger Parlor & Beer Garden
This easily has become one of my favorite spots. Every time I come back to Nashville I try to hit up new spots, but I keep coming back to the Pharmacy. It is just such a cool spot and the food is delicious.
If it is a beautiful day or evening I would highly recommend sitting in the beer garden. It really is such a cool spot to enjoy a tasty meal.
2.) Barista Parlor
I must confess to you that I have a Barista Parlor obsession, which is why it is absolutely on my top 10 favorite Nashville spots. I think I may even have a Barista Parlor addiction, if you will. Every time I visit Nashville I have to hit this spot at least once a day while I am there. The obsession is that serious. You thought I was kidding? Nope. It is that good. Two words: Bourbon Vanilla. No, it doesn’t have actual Bourbon in it, but that doesn’t make it any less delicious. Hot or cold there is no wrong decision there. Their coffee is absolutely delicious. The Bourbon Vanilla is my personal favorite, but they have other selections like Whiskey Caramel, Espresso, Drip and Pour over coffee. You really cannot go wrong.
If the coffee doesn’t knock your socks off, the Barista Parlor vibe will. It is set in a really cool garage-like setting. Picture motorcycle meets vintage and artsy and you’ve got the perfect hangout place. There are five locations in Nashville from which to choose so the odds are no matter where you are in Nashville you are very close by to a Barista Parlor.

3.) The Farm House
I have only been here once, but the food here was excellent and everything a “foodie” could ever hope for, especially the pimento cheese beignets. The pimento cheese beignets add the Farm House to the top 10 favorite Nashville spots alone. Word to the wise though, go on a very empty stomach because you will want to eat all the things.
4.) Biscuit Love
I have one word that will change your life forever. Are you ready? Bonuts. Bonuts are little pieces of heaven this world doesn’t deserve, but goodness! are they delicious. What makes Bonuts so delicious? Well, it may be the fact that they are fried dough, tossed in sugar, topped with lemon mascarpone, served over blueberry compote. Calories don’t count when you’re on vacation, right? I am asking for a friend… All of the food is delicious at Biscuit Love, but if you go for no other reason than Bonuts no one would blame you.
If Bonuts are not your thing. That’s cool. Biscuit Love does serve more than just Bonuts. They have other delicious items on their menu. Whether you bonut or not this place is a must on your Nashville hit list!

5.) Nashville Hatch Show Print Shop
The Nashville Hatch Show Print shop was recommended to me by a few friends and let me tell you it did not disappoint. I would like to pay it forward here and now and recommend to you, my dear friends. It is very cool to learn about all of the history of Hatch Show and the history of the letterpress and the important role both play in the history of Nashville. You even get to press your very own print. I would say this is definitely a must if you are visiting Nashville.
6.) Mural Hunting
Nashville is a city full of art. You will see art everywhere you look, whether it is that up and coming artist in the bar around the corner, or sculptures and statues around the city or my personal favorite: wall murals. One of my favorite things I plan with each trip to Nashville is hunting wall murals. They are all around the city and you never know where you may find one.
Can you believe this is only a small fraction of the murals in Nashville? I have not even hit half of the murals. That is just crazy! You never know what may be just around the corner so keep those eyes open and camera ready!
7.) George Dickel Whisky Tour
My last trip to Nashville, this past May, I decided to try something new and different than the average tourist attractions. Let me tell you that this tour did not disappoint. It was so good in fact, that it will be receiving its own post.
I did my research and there are several distilleries and whisky tours in and around Nashville, including the one and only Jack Daniels. Me being a history nerd I was able to eliminate the facilities that were in the last 10 years or so. I really wanted that history and experience. Ultimately it came down to George Dickel and Jack Daniels. Both have the history, but it basically came down to my perception of experience. It was just a hunch and boy! did it pay off. I’m sure the Jack Daniels tour is very good too, but I really loved the tour at George Dickel. The grounds are beautiful and the tour was so informative and I loved hearing about the history. I think this tour should be on everyone’s must (21 and over, of course!).
8.) Butchertown Hall
Butchertown Hall is also becoming one of my easy go-to’s in Nashville for a tasty bite to eat. The food is delicious and who doesn’t love a restaurant with beautiful subway tile and wood accents! Located in Germantown, Butchertown is definitely on my top 10 Nashville spots list.
9.) Johnny Cash Museum
It would almost seem a little sacrilege to me to come to Nashville and not pay tribute to the Man in Black. Let’s just say you may be walking the line if you don’t stop in and tip your hat to Johnny Cash, but hey! who am I to judge?
The museum is actually very well done and interactive. It definitely deserves a visit and a spot in the top 10 favorite Nashville spots list.
10.) Sinema
Located in what once was the old Melrose theater, this now elegant restaurant is right out of a hollywood movie and absolutely deserves a visit, at least once for the experience.
You will definitely need to bring your benjamins for this favorite spot, but it is well worth it, I assure you. I came here a few years ago for my birthday as a special celebration. Now mind you I am by no means rolling in it so I have only been once, but I can guarantee you that if I had the funds I would come here every trip to Nashville. It is that good.
I could go on and on about my dinner and experience, but this is an experience I think each should have for themselves. In the meantime, I will leave you with some wonderful memories I had.
Nashville is a fantastic city to visit. You find a new layer each time you visit. Have you been to Nashville yet? What are some of your favorite Nashville spots?
Disclaimer: This post was in no way sponsored, nor am I receiving any sort of kickbacks from any of the attractions in this post. These are simply my favorite go-to places in the beautiful city of Nashville.
